• Police: Man accused of setting North Miami Beach house on fire (local10.com) — A house fire in a North Miami Beach neighborhood near Northeast 14th Avenue and 154th Street led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man on attempted felony murder and arson charges. Police say witnesses saw him gather flammable items, ignite them in a bedroom, and then announce the home was on fire before flames burst from the window.
   

• Man breaks into plastic surgery center, takes $500 breast implant and food, deputies say (wsvn.com) — North Miami Beach police briefly detained a man accused of burglarizing a South Florida plastic surgery center, where deputies say he stole tote bags, food, and a $500 silicone breast implant. Miami-Dade deputies later arrested him on burglary and petit theft charges after recovering the items nearby.
