Palm Beach County drops proposed beach parking fee at county beaches (cbs12.com) — Palm Beach County has dropped its plan to charge for parking at county beaches, keeping access free for North Palm Beach residents and visitors alike. Locals like North Palm Beach homeowner Jennifer Clyman say they already pay high taxes and are relieved they can still enjoy nearby beaches without new fees, though county leaders may revisit the idea next year.
   

2. Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources announces Class XIII (ufl.edu) — A North Palm Beach-based professional from Hundley Farms has been chosen for the Wedgworth Leadership Institute's new statewide agriculture and natural resources leadership class. Over the next two years, the 30-member cohort will travel Florida, Washington, D.C., and abroad to build skills and connections that could shape future decisions affecting farming, water, and land use across the state.
   

3. Summer Adventures Turn Into Year-Round Jewish Growth (anash.org) — A North Palm Beach teen says a CTeen Xtreme summer trip through Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and California transformed how she sees Judaism, inspiring her to give tzedakah daily and stay more involved year-round. The all-girls adventure mixed rafting, hiking, and Shabbat experiences, and organizers say many participants return home more engaged in local Jewish life and eager for future programs.
   

4. Paddleboard found as search for man missing off Jupiter hits third day (palmbeachpost.com) — Search crews are in their third day looking for paddleboarder Matt Pawlowski, last seen offshore from Jupiter, and a matching board has been found miles out at sea. Pawlowski, identified as a North Palm Beach Rowing Club member, remains missing as the Coast Guard and local agencies ask anyone with information to contact Sector Miami immediately.
