• New Chabad Center Established in Oakland Park, Florida (crownheights.info) — A new Chabad center is taking shape in Oakland Park as Rabbi Sruli and Faigy Mochkin settle in and begin hosting Shabbat dinners, holiday events, and Torah study sessions for local residents. After testing the waters with Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, and Purim gatherings, they’ve now committed to monthly Friday night services and are inviting Oakland Park’s diverse Jewish community to help shape the center’s growth.
