• Lockheed Martin gets $138 million for F-35, submarine and THAAD system work (al.com) — Oldsmar is one of several U.S. sites where Lockheed Martin will build submarine components under a Navy contract, part of $138 million in new defense awards. The work on acoustic modules, shared with facilities in Massachusetts, New York, and Virginia, is expected to continue through June 2031 and could support local high-tech and manufacturing jobs. 
• Division of Student Affairs honors outstanding student leaders (nd.edu) — An Oldsmar native, Maeve Miller, has been honored by the University of Notre Dame’s Division of Student Affairs with a top student leadership award recognizing her work on behalf of classmates. The story also highlights several other graduating seniors nationwide who were celebrated for faith, service, wellness, journalism, and campus leadership.
