• Man shocked by electrical wire while working in backyard of Opa-locka home, police say (local10.com) — A man doing yard work at a home on Sharar Avenue in Opa-locka suffered a severe electrical shock Tuesday afternoon and was airlifted in critical condition to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. Opa-locka police say the apparent accidental electrocution remains under investigation, and officers provided first aid before Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took over care.
