Here are the top stories today in Orlando:

1. JAM Hot Chicken transformed from a popular pop-up concept to a brick-and-mortar business in Winter Park's Hannibal Square over the last year. Owner Andrew Scala says it started off as a hobby that eventually became a passion that Scala utilized when the pandemic struck and he found himself out of work. (Click Orlando)

2. The Red Cross is helping 13 Orlando residents find a place to live after a fire broke out at Cadence Crossing Apartments on Curry Ford Road. No one was injured in the fire and no cause is currently known. (WESH)

3. Goodwill is hosting a job fair at its Goldenrod store today from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It is seeking full-time and part-time workers and the pay starts at $11.50 an hour. The company is looking for cashiers, store clerks, and donation attendants. (WFTV)

4. "Goblins & Giggles" is returning to Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee and will run daily through October 31st. Guests can enjoy live shows, themed characters, costume contests, and plenty of candy. Tickets are now available. (Fox 35 Orlando)

5. A new flagship merchandise store at Epcot called Creations Shop and the new Club Cool will both open at Epcot on Wednesday, September 15th. Club Cool will feature different flavors of Coca-Cola from around the world for guests to sample. (Spectrum News 13)
