Baby Frankenstein Born On Halloween In Winter Park Is No Monster
It's a tale with an ending that Mary Shelley herself couldn't have spun.

WINTER PARK, FL — Frankenstein was born on Halloween in Winter Park, Florida — a tale that couldn't have a better ending if Mary Shelley herself had written it. But this Frankenstein goes by Oskar, not Victor, and weighs 6 pounds, 9 ounces. He's also 20 inches tall.
Kyle and Jessica Frankenstein were given Oct. 29 as a due date — days before Halloween — so it wasn't out of the realm of possibility that the boy would, fittingly, be born on a holiday where people are known to dress up as Frankenstein's monster. And that's exactly what happened, WFTS-TV reported. Oskar Gray Frankenstein was born Tuesday, Oct. 31 at Winter Park Memorial Hospital.
Jessica Frankenstein told the station she didn't think Oskar would wait until Halloween, but said she and Kyle had talked about how "neat" it would be when the boy gets older.

The baby's grandmother Jennifer Frankenstein told WKMG the family is "super excited." Oskar was her first grandchild, she said. She also has a 13-year-old daughter who shares the same birthday as Mary Shelley.
