Hadassah Orlando presents Author Yvonne David at its January 4th monthly in-person meeting at 11:30 AM at Congregation Ohev Shalom, 613 Concourse Parkway South, Maitland, FL 32751. Ms. David will discuss her award-winning historical fiction, The Apple Tree Series. The books in The Apple Tree Series follow the Bieman Family over four generations in the Catskills Region of New York. Filled with spirituality and spirit, humor and heart these stories detail the importance of the Catskill Mountains in Jewish-American history. Reservations are required. Admission is $18. To date, The Apple Tree Series consists of two works of fiction, Out of The Apple Orchard and, most recently, The Night Sky Lined with Silver. A staged version of Out of The Apple Orchard was presented at the Orlando Repertory in 2016, followed by an off-off-Broadway showcase in New York City in 2020.
