Here are the top stories in Orlando today:

1. Lawsuit: The union representing Orange County Sheriff's Office deputies is taking legal action against Sheriff John Mina and the sheriff's office over the use of body cameras. The police union is upset over a new policy that enables the department's body cameras to capture one minute of audio and video before the deputies hit the record button. They are calling the feature an invasion of their privacy. (WFTV)

2. The University of Florida (UF) could be facing an accreditation probe after banning professors from testifying against the state and Governor Ron DeSantis. Under national scrutiny, UF announced that its political science professors would be allowed to testify as plaintiffs' witnesses if they don't get paid or use school resources. 3. Insurrection: Sanford firefighter Andrew J. Williams has plead guilty for his role in the January 6th Capitol Hill riot in Washington D.C. Sentencing is set for January 27, 2022. Williams is currently on leave with the department. He pleaded guilty to one count of parading, demonstrating or picketing inside a Capitol building, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum sentence of six months in prison and a fine. (Click Orlando)

4. A partnership between Visit Florida and other tourism organizations in the Miami, Orlando and Tampa area with Michelin will allow Michelin to begin adding the cities to its popular list of guides. The inaugural edition of "The Michelin Guide Miami, Orlando and Tampa" will be announced in 2022. (Florida Patch)

5. Mad Cow Theatre owes City of Orlando an outstanding bill in the amount of $121,742.40. Its lease will be terminated if it fails to pay the bill. The City of Orlando leases the space from ShopCore and subleases to Mad Cow Theatre. (Bungalower)
