1. The Milk District's new food hall concept Milkhouse is now in soft opening. Vendors include Cicchetti, Bagel Bruno, Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream, Itsa Chicken, Ravenous Pig Brewing Co., Foxtail Coffee, and more. (Orlando Weekly)

2. Orlando Film Festival is happening this week with more than 200 films screening. The event is known to draw thousands of people and was virtual last year due to COVID-19, but will be in-person again this year. The films can be seen at CMX Plaza Cinema Café in downtown Orlando from October 28th to November 4th. Festival passes are now available for purchase and proof of vaccination is required to remove your mask at the event. (Orlando Sentinel)

3. Rising costs have forced Argos Family Diner in Apopka to raise the price of most items by $1.50 to help offset shortages. 41% of Florida businesses have been impacted with supply chain related issues this month, according to a business survey. (Spectrum News 13)

4. Osceola County Schools is investigating complaints against a teacher who is accused of forcing her students to clean up a dirty bathroom as a form of punishment. The Florida Department of Children and Families and local law enforcement are now involved. (Click Orlando)

5. A Seminole County woman has been arrested for selling fentanyl while running a drug rehab facility. Authorities say 50-year-old Misty Leigh Gilley was selling the drugs at the facility and out of her home. Police say it is just the beginning of an operation and that she did not act alone. (WFTV)
