WHAT:

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 5 City Commissioner Regina Hill will officially cut the ribbon at Willows Park to celebrate the parks reopening on Saturday, September 28.

The Willows Park playground has been upgraded with state of the art equipment such as an eclipse net climber, saddle spinners, an accessible swing and much more. The new equipment fosters increased opportunities for sensory, motor, cognitive and social skill development for the children of the Willow Park community.

Residents will also notice a new entrance walk, bench and signs. Improved landscaping, a renovated fence, updated picnic tables and a new basket on the basketball court were also included in the modernization of the park.

The ribbon cutting event is open to the public and will include bounce houses, music and food for the community to enjoy.
