Park Maitland School Celebrates New Preschool Campus
School leaders held a ribbon-cutting for current and future students, teachers and staff to attend "virtually" on Zoom
Park Maitland School, which has served the Maitland community for 52 years, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 9 to celebrate its brand-new 12,000-square-foot preschool campus. School leaders and representatives from the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce participated in a virtual ribbon cutting at the new preschool. Current students from Park Maitland School, future preschool students, teachers and staff attended the event “virtually” on Zoom. Virtual attendees were encouraged to bring their own ribbon and scissors to celebrate.
Park Maitland Preschool’s campus, located at 2440 Howell Market Lane in Winter Park (approximately 10 minutes away from Park Maitland School’s main campus), is scheduled to open the latter part of September and features a state-of-the-art facility tailored to STEAM education, well-being and mindfulness, and more. Park Maitland Preschool offers programs for students as young as two years old through Pre-K, and offers programs to provide flexibility for families that best suit each student’s needs.
