1. An estimated 33,767 (16.4 percent) of Orange County rental households were behind in paying rents as of early August, according to Surgo Ventures. Delinquent Orange County households collectively owed $145,432,313 in back rent as of early August and the number of households behind is rising. (Orlando Patch)
2. Orange County deputies are searching for a 19-year-old woman who they say was last seen Friday evening at an apartment complex near University of Central Florida. Miya Marcano is 5 feet, 130 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes and was last seen at Arden Villas Apartments. (WESH)
3. Another concert cancellation: Metal band Ministry has postponed its October Orlando show until March 2022. Their reason is an "abundance of caution for the health and safety of the band, fans, and venue staff." (Orlando Weekly)
4. An additional 2,340 people were reported by Florida to have lost their lives to COVID-19 last week, bringing the total death toll in the state past 53,000 as the Delta variant continues to spread. Both cases and deaths are declining, although reported deaths only fell by 138 from the week prior. (WUSF)
5. Celebrate Disney's 50th Anniversary coming October 1st with a new LEGO Disney Mini Disney Castle. The set includes a mini Cinderella Castle that looks similar to decorations at the theme park for the celebration and a vintage-style Mickey Mouse mini-figure.
