Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County receives State Farm grant

Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County announces a grant from State Farm® to help better prepare Central Floridians for the upcoming hurricane season. Specifically, the grant will be utilized to purchase smoke alarms and hurricane roofing materials for Habitat homes.
The grant helps future homeowners like Joselyn achieve their goal of a safe place to live and thrive for generations.
"When I think about home, I think of cozy, comfortable, safe," said Joselyn, who is set to move into her home next month with her two sons. "This home will open doors for me and my kids, letting them know that if mom did it, we can do it."
