Palm Beach State College Foundation Appoints Three New Community Leaders to Board

The Palm Beach State College Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Palm Beach State College dedicated to expanding access to higher education and strengthening the community, today announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Alberto R. Leal, Esq., Founder of Alberto R. Leal, Esq., P.A.; Corey Saban, Communications Strategist and Media Coach at CS Media Works; and Jordan Davis, Director of Affordable Housing at Related Ross.

Collectively, the new board members bring decades of leadership experience in law, communications, business, and community development, further strengthening the Foundation's efforts to expand educational opportunities, support workforce development and create pathways to student success throughout Palm Beach County.

Alberto R. Leal, Esq. is the Founder of Alberto R. Leal, Esq., P.A., a Lake Worth-based law firm concentrating in criminal defense, business litigation and disability discrimination. A lifelong Palm BeachCounty resident and proud Palm Beach State College alumnus, Leal earned his Associate of Arts degree from the College before receiving his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2017.

An active leader in the legal community, Leal serves on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association and most recently served as President-Elect. He has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and received the National Trial Lawyers' Top 40 Under 40 Award. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Leal is committed to expanding access to legal services and serving South Florida's diverse communities.

Corey Saban is the Founder of CS Media Works, where he helps organizations and executives develop compelling messaging, strengthen their public presence, and protect their reputations.Throughout his career, he has advised Fortune 500 companies, startups and high-profile leaders on strategic communications and media relations.

An Emmy-nominated and Associated Press award-winning former television journalist, Saban has interviewed some of the world's most recognizable public figures and reported on historic events, including the disputed 2000 presidential election, the September 11 terrorist attacks, and other major national stories. His expertise in communications and public engagement will support the Foundation's continued growth and community outreach.

Jordan Davis is the Director of Affordable Housing at Related Ross, where he leads the firm's affordable and workforce housing initiatives throughout Florida. Previously, he served as Acquisitions Manager for one of the state's largest mixed-income housing development platforms.

A dedicated civic leader, Davis serves on the City of West Palm Beach's Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, is a Board Member of the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County and co-chairs the Urban Land Institute's Young Leaders Program. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, serves on the Weiser Center for Real Estate Advisory Board, and founded the University of Michigan Real Estate Mentorship Program, which has grown into one of the nation's largest programs of its kind, connecting more than 400 students and alumni each year.
