• Rescued otters return to the wild after rehab (floridatoday.com) — Two orphaned otters raised at the Florida Wildlife Hospital in Palm Shores have just been released back into the wild after months of intensive care and training. Staff bottle-fed them, taught them to swim and hunt live prey, and now say the costly but rewarding effort paid off as the animals returned to their natural habitat. Residents can support future rescues through donations to the hospital.
