Gov. DeSantis Issues Executive Order Allowing Flexibility For Fuel Providers To Access State

The order also extends powers to the Florida's Division of Emergency Management and Department of Transportation.

On May 7, 2021, Colonial Pipeline was the target of a cyberattack that disabled certain computer systems responsible for sustaining operations, which forced Colonial Pipeline to temporarily halt all pipeline operations. Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a State of Emergency regarding the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack.

Executive Order 21-105, allows for the flexibility to allow fuel providers to access Florida and deliver fuel, as well as, extending powers to the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
