Is there any recent news on Sutherland Crossing? Sutherland was a magical place with lots of space, quiet, tortoises and birds. friendly employees that somehow got itself into trouble for, basically, not marketing itself effectively. The committee that has filed a termination plan says that they have a deal with a developer to turn it all into McMansions, but they have to get legal title. Meanwhile another person has attempted to buy up to 200 units, presumably to try to hold the remaining owners for ransom.
Is there any word? It appears that Sutherland is dead as a resort but since we own two weeks were are at least monitarily interested in what happens.
