40 Palm Harbor Residents Evacuated
The Sherwood and Caledesi trailer parks have been cleared out as flood waters rise.

Palm Harbor Fire Rescue reports that more than 40 residents have been evacuated from the Caledesi and Sherwood RV parks Monday as flooding continues at the intersection of Alternate 19 and Tampa Road.
Flood waters in the area are estimated to be between 3 and 4 feet high, Palm Harbor Fire Rescue reported in an email to media.
“No injuries, but there have been some minor medical calls for residents pertaining to the incoming flood water,” fire rescue’s email stated.

About 40 residents have also decided to shelter in place, the agency noted.
