Amateur Pool Players From Around U.S. to Compete in Palm Harbor
This will be the fourth year that Stroker's Sports Bar & Grill has hosted the championship, according to manager Suzy Hayne.
Palm Harbor's Stroker's Sports Bar & Grill will be in the national spotlight this weekend as a host of the U.S. Amateur Championship, which is often called the country's most prestigious amateur pool tournament.
This will be the fourth year that Stroker's has hosted the championship, according to manager Suzy Hayne.
There are 128 players scheduled to compete in the men's division of the tournament, and 32 players will compete in the women's division.

- Stroker's Sports Bar & Grill will host the men's division from Nov. 9 to 11.
- The Crooked Cue in Clearwater will host the opening day of women's competition on Saturday, Nov. 10.
- Men and women's division finalists will play in the final rounds at Stroker's Sports Bar & Grill on Sunday, Nov. 11.
The event is free. The championship begins at 9 a.m. and continues through the evening.
"Get here early, we open at 8:30 a.m. They play pretty late," says Hayne.

The event is organized by the American Poolplayers' Association.
