Cypress Woods Elementary Holiday Program Delights
The chorus at Cypress Woods Elementary School has done a remarkable job this year.
Thursday evening Palm Harbor's Cypress Woods Elementary Chorus performed their Holiday Program. Highlights included strings with "Jingle Bells", the Orff ensemble with "Carol of the Bells", the chorus singing "There's a Big Red Fellow in the Chimney", and a grand finale of "We Wish you a Swinging Holiday."
The program was student choreographed and led. Five students narrated the show in a mini-play called the IPad Adventure and gave the whole program an international flair.
This is the second top notch performance given by the chorus, led by Ms. Freeman, the music teacher at Cypress Woods Elementary School. Just a month ago, another moving performance and ceremony was given to honor Veteran's Day. That program received public accolades from attendees and truly conveyed the meaning of the holiday just as tonight's performance did. I can't wait to see what they do next.
