Cypress Woods Students Shine in Fundraising Efforts

Two Cypress Woods Elementary Student Raise Funds with Lemonade and Snack Stand.

Two Cypress Woods Elementary students in East Lake, 9 year-old Brianna Casey and 10 year-old Leah Walker "stand" out in fund raising for Leukemia and Lymphoma Research.

On Saturday, May 5th, Brianna and Leah set up a lemonade and snack stand to earn money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).  In all, the girls earned $61.

In an email to the school Theresa Casey wrote, "Brianna and Leah had such a wonderful afternoon Saturday with their Lemonade Stand for Pasta for Pennies.  It was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to bond while doing something for others."
