For the Love of Dogs...and Cats, Gerbils, Birds, Rabbits, Fish....

It's no secret that animals enrich our lives. They offer love to the brokenhearted, healing to the sick, company to the lonely and playmates to our children. They are selfless, loyal and genuine.

I have had dogs most of my life. All mutts. All rescues. Barney, Bingo, Vilano, Abigail and Kona. I have had 5 cats. Again, all rescues. Genoa, Miko, Ian, Jackson and Fatty. Turtles, gerbils, fish of all kinds, a parakeet and even butterflies.

I've spent my life surrounded by the love of animals. I look forward to sharing that love with you. I will highlight rescues in our area as well as individual animals that need "furr" ever homes or our support in healing. I will share success stories, events, d and doggie get togethers.

I'd also like to devote some entries to a few rescues that are dear to my heart, including the one that saved my precious Kona.
