Westlake Membership rallies to help one of its own Children; HOA shortsightness be damned.
WESTLAKE VILLAGE MEMBERS RALLY TO SUPPORT THE IRELAND NUGENT FAMILY!
In an effort to protect the Westlake Village Association from any issues that may arise from upcoming and approved plan for its Memorial Day Pool reopening event; The activities committee did a reevaluation of the communities needs because its aware of just how big the Westlake Community is, has asked for additional support from the Board to reassign some Budget line items and to approve a proposal that would protect the Board and association from any possible over attendance to the non-gated community. The event that is slated has taken on new meaning for many in the community. It will be an opportunity for its 2000 plus residents to rally in support of the Ireland Nugent Family. The short sightedness of the Board has left many homeowners in doubt of the current’s board ability to actually volunteer as business leaders and guardians of the association’s needs. The Clearwater Property Management Company; Resource Property Management’s newly appointed community manager Justin Rivenburgh, LCAM is not able to comprehend the needs of the association, his obvious lack of understanding of the communities passion to take care of one of its member’s is abhorrent and demands a change to the current management. Westlake Village’s 30 acre park and recreation facilities are for the resident’s use with their guests; if what Mr. Riverburgh implied during the meeting as a scare tactic to get board members to not approve the facilities usage plan. The next question should be is why is Resource Property Management not recommending the closure of our recreation facilities all together? It’s because what Mr. Rivenburgh was doing is called unnecessarily in sighting fear. Not a good management tactic for an Association of this size. Politics and fear aside, the goal of the Palm Harbor Community and the Westlake Village Members is to have support shown to the Nugent Family regardless. Westlake Resident members should contact their Board at www.westlakevillagehoa.com or Resource Property Managment at www.resourcepropertymgmt.com and make your opinions heard. This is a good time to get active in your community and get involved. At least here you can vote them out.
