What is the Road Ahead?

What’s next? When will we see Rushbo come forth with his next insult to the all of us? What is the next insidious comment to fall out in the political arena? What is the road ahead?

Seems to me that many people like to look backward to see - embrace what was and will never be.  What we need to do is look forward and see what is coming down the road. To look ahead and plan for a united community.

Our society is moving forward, developing new technologies and methods of using them. We need to move together to bring all of our strengths and talents to met the tasks ahead. Unfortunately there are elements in our society that seemingly have only one task, to drive wedge issues into our community.  Their goal, that is a question, what is their goal?  To divide our community into a fractured population wandering about?

We’ve seen individuals who suggest that this is a duplication of the time before the Missouri Compromise. The Missouri Compromise ultimately lead to the Civil War.  Are we to see a divided nation?  Does the Pledge of Allegiance no longer hold force?

The loud shrill words of division must be dropped.  We should not accept insidious comments.  The road forward for all of us has been and is neatly stated in the Pledge of Allegiance.  I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
