Business Helps Locals Sell Yard Sale Items

Antiques and Uniques sponsors a public yard sale on the third Saturday of each month. People can bring their unwanted items and set up a table or tent and sell their stuff.

Got some extra stuff you want to get rid of? Or, are you the type of person who likes to search for treasure at yard sales?

Antiques and Uniques sponsors a public yard sale on the third Saturday of each month. People can bring their unwanted items and set up a table or tent and sell their stuff.

"These monthly sales will provide a community service and become a fun destination for treasure hunters," said Carla Gillis of Antiques and Uniques.

Gillis says there are a wide variety of reasons why people like to participate in the yard sale.

"Some customers say that neighborhood restrictions don’t allow them to hold sales, or they don’t want to pay to advertise when they only have a small number of things to sell. Others don’t want strangers coming to their home," she said.
