Palm Harbor Museum Presents Florida State Parks Biologist&nbsp;Dan Larremore&nbsp;with&nbsp;Storm Season on the Gulf Islands&nbsp;on&nbsp;Wed., May 6th at 6:30 PM at Palm Harbor Library.&nbsp;&nbsp;Larremore will share the effect of hurricanes and storms on our barrier islands and answer your questions regarding the ways we can protect our beautiful coastal areas and wildlife.
A professional biologist with 30 years of experience protecting coastal habitats and imperiled species in Pinellas County,&nbsp;Larremore&nbsp;proudly served for 20 years as park biologist for Honeymoon, Caladesi, Anclote, and Egmont Key State Parks, and at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium for ten years. He and his wife reside in beautiful Dunedin.

Numerous Pinellas County departments will also be present to provide information on how to prepare for and respond to hurricanes. There will be over 35 booths filled with information, tips, and giveaways!Don’t miss out on the chance to win many door prizes, including generators, hurricane supply kits, chainsaws, and more! We are celebrating Mother Day with a super special Moms, Mutts, and Mimosas edition of 727 Cars &amp; Coffee! Bring out your four-legged best friend and the rest of the family as we celebrate this Mother's Day! Moms can enjoy bottomless mimosas for only $20, plus Tom's Coffee and Kona Ice will be back on site to keep everyone refreshed, plus as usual the bounce house for the kids and music by DJ Toeknee to keep the energy up.​Everything kicks off at 9-noon followed by LBC's Sunday Funday, so make plans now to come join us. St. Alfred’s Centering Prayer Group invites you to withdraw from the cares of the world by attending a morning of silent prayer.
We will meet in the choir room on the north side of the church; please enter through the choir room doors. For questions or to register, please email marypat.sjostrom@gmail.com. Registration is not required, but it will help us to know how to set up the prayer circle.
While Centering Prayer is the basis of our teaching, all meditation paths are welcome. Books on the spiritual journey will be available to browse or to borrow from the church.
