Update: Crash Partially Closes U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor
Motorists traveling near Klosterman Road are asked to take alternative routes.
Update Aug. 22, 9:46 a.m.: Five people have been injured in the crash that has U.S. 19 down to one lane in the Klosterman Road area. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes. The road is expected to remain closed for at least an hour and rescue workers are reporting backups in the area.

A four-vehicle crash Friday morning has left a portion of U.S. 19 closed in the Palm Harbor area.

Palm Harbor Fire Rescue’s Liz Monforti reports that the accident was in the southbound lanes. Only one lane of U.S. 19 near Klosterman Road is open at this time, she reported.
