PALM HARBOR, FL – In today’s world, the health market is ever-changing. This year, at the “Passport to Good Health” Senior Health Fair, event-goers can get the most up-to-date information and free medical advice and screenings.

“It’s important for seniors to stay active and also to get regular check-ups and screenings,” says Trish Harrison, Event Manager for CSA Palm Harbor, the organization behind the annual fairs, “and we are offering a free opportunity to do so, along with prizes, food and giveaways.”

The event, October 3rd at The Centre of Palm Harbor, is from 9AM to 1PM and will feature dozens of health vendors, a variety of free medical screenings, giveaways, door prizes and much more. Light refreshments will also be served. The event is free and open to the public.

The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority, better known as PSTA, will also be on-site at this year’s event to provide information on the agency’ popular “North County Connector” route, as well as more senior-friendly transportation options. “The Connector service provides a choice and a since of independence for those in need of transportation. Its unique service is designed to come to you.” says Juan Luvian, PSTA’s Marketing and Sales Coordinator.

The Centre of Palm Harbor is located at 1500 16th Street in Palm Harbor, just north of Nebraska Avenue. The event is free and open to the public. CSA Palm Harbor, the event organizer, is the local entity managing parks, recreation and leisure services for the unincorporated community, a part of the Palm Harbor Community Services Agency, a special taxing district.
