The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has released some of the details in Friday’s fatal stabbing on Market Place Drive.
According to detectives, the stabbing occurred around 2:22 p.m. just behind 36301 Eastlake Road. There Dwight Tisdale, 23, of St. Petersburg and an unknown assailant were seen inside a slow moving vehicle. Witnesses told detectives that Tisdale and the other man appeared to be arguing.
“At one point, Tisdale, who was the driver, staggered out of the vehicle and fell to the ground,” an email to media from the sheriff’s office stated. “Detectives say the suspect also exited the vehicle, walked towards the victim, stood over him and stabbed him multiple times with a knife.”
