Workshop shows participants how easy it is to make compost from your yard waste by adding kitchen scraps to leaves, yard clippings, etc.

Participants will also learn about how adding compost to Florida’s sandy soil can improve its water-holding capacity.

Participants will receive one compost bin per household, courtesy of Pinellas County Utilities Solid Waste Operations Department.
