Live music is just one of the highlights of this year’s Halloween-themed event called Witchstock 2011… where Woodstock & Halloween meet… Held on Saturday, October 29th, 2011 from 3 pm to Midnight on two blocks of Florida Avenue, Witchstock will feature three musical acts: Terry Premru will fingerpick songs from The Wizard of Ozon his acoustic guitar at 4:30 pm; Jack Poland & Friends will play songs from the 60s to get you in the Woodstock mood at 6:30 pm. Finally, The Defendants will rock the house from 7:30 pm till 11 pm. New this year: the event will be livestreamed on www.livestream.com/thewitchsbrew and archived on the internet for on demand viewing.
The event is hosted by The Witch’s Brew, a coffee & ice cream shoppe in Historic Downtown Palm Harbor and co-sponsored by the Downtown Palm Harbor Merchants Assn., Sunrise Landscape & Lawn Care, Celestial Circle, Corona Beer, Healthy Pets Groceries, Elegant Paws Groomers, & Landmark Trophies. Everyone, from parents with small children & the family dog to adults, is invited to this FREE costume-oriented event for pets & kids and cash prizes for adults ($5 entry fee). The Pet Costume Contest will be held at 3:30 pm. The Children’s Costume Contest will be held at 5:30 pm and the Adult Costume Contest ($5 entry fee) will be held at 9 pm. Winners will receive customized Witchstock trophies provided by Landmark Trophies.
A lime-carving contest sponsored by Corona Beer will be held at 6:30 pm. Last year’s prize was a Corona bicycle. Psychic readings will be available at Celestial Circle throughout the affair. Vendors showcasing jewelry and other unique treasures will be open until 11 pm.

New this year, attendees will get to talk with members of the Florida Suncoast Paranormal Investigations, a professional team of experienced adult paranormal investigators whose goal is to collect data and aid in the further understanding and documentation of the paranormal.
The rain date is scheduled for the following day on Sunday, October 30th with the same hours.
