Palm Harbor Professional Firefighters and Fraternal Order Of Police, Pinellas Lodge 43, have endorsed Julie Peluso for Fire Commissioner
FIREFIGHTERS AND POLICE ENDORSE JULIE PELUSO
The Palm Harbor-Oldsmar Professional Firefighters and the Fraternal Order of Police, Pinellas Lodge 43 have endorsed Julie Peluso, the incumbent Palm Harbor Fire Commissioner, in her re-election bid.
She also has been endorsed in her race by U.S. Congressman Gus Bilirakis, Senator Ed Hooper, State Representative Adam Anderson, Former Speaker of the Florida House Chris Sprowls, Former State Representative Carl Zimmerman, Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, PinellasClerk of Court Ken Burke, PinellasProperty Appraiser Mike Twitty, Pinellas Tax Collector Adam Ross, Pinellas County Commissioners Dave Eggers, Chris Latvala, Vince Nowicki, Chris Scherer and Brian Scott.

In addition, she has earned endorsements from Palm Harbor Fire Commissioners Casey Cane and Stu Williams, past Palm Harbor Fire Commissioners Norm Atherton, Debbie Buschman and Jim Nelson, East Lake Fire Commissioners Randy Burr, Maryellen Crowder, Kevin Kenny and Mike Peasley, Lealman Fire Commissioner Rebecca Harriman, Pinellas Suncoast Fire Commissioner Jacob Knighton and Jim Millican, President of the Florida Association of Special Districts.
Peluso is currently a Florida Certified District Official with the FL Assn. of Special Districts and the Palm Harbor representative for the Pinellas Special Fire Districts Coalition. She also serves as a board member for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches and the Palm Harbor 9/11 Committee.

She has served as past chair of the Pinellas Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council (EMSAC) and past board member of the Area Agency on Aging Pasco/Pinellas (AAAPP).
Commissioner Peluso has been deeply rooted in the Palm Harbor community and has been honored as Palm Harbor “Woman of the Year”, Curlew Hills “Community Service Award” and City of Oldsmar Recognition Award. She was also recognized by the Florida Association of Special Districts as “Member of the Year”.
Peluso has been a commercial/residential realtor for over 30 years and a 40-year Palm Harbor Resident. She is married to Dr. Ken Peluso with 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
