A new Five Guys burger joint is scheduled to open in November in the Boot Ranch shopping complex.

Construction on the new location is underway in the Boot Ranch shopping complex, which is located at the corner of Tampa Rd. and the East Lake Rd. business route. A worker inside the new location told East Lake Patch that they're hoping to open sometime in November.

The company got its start back in Arlington, Virginia in 1986, when Jerry and Janie Murrell told their four sons to "Start a business or go to college." The family wound up opening a carryout burger joint serving hand-formed burgers and french fries made from fresh-cut potatoes, according to the Five Guys website. The company has since expanded to more than 1,000 locations in the U.S.
What makes Five Guys a bit different from other burger joints is the restaurants do not serve frozen food and the restaurants do not have freezers. Five Guys employees make their burgers from fresh ground beef and he menu is trans-fat free.
