Graduation Rate Up at Palm Harbor University High

Newly-released statistics show the graduation rate at PHUH is above the state average.

The 2010-11 graduation rate at is almost 20 percentage points above the state average according to a report released by the Florida Department of Education.

The report lists the 2010-11 graduation rate at Palm Harbor University High at 98.6%, up slightly from the 2009-1010 rate of 98.3%. PHUH's graduation rate is the highest in Pinellas County and is much higher than the state average of 80.1%.

The graduation rate increase follows an upward trend in Pinellas County, according to the school district.

β€œOverall, I’m encouraged that the district is making progress," said Superintendent John Stewart. β€œWe’re heading in the right direction, and for that I credit the teachers and administrators who are working so hard to help our students be successful."
