Halloween Carnival This Weekend!

Calling all ghouls and goblins! CSA Palm Harbor Parks & Recreation is hosting their annual Halloween Carnival this weekend, Saturday, October 19. The fun begins at 6:30PM at The Centre of Palm Harbor, located at 1500 16th Street. Throughout the evening, fun and games will happen on the community center front lawn, as well as music, food and carnival-style games. Inside, little ones can experience a “non-scary” trick-or-treating area featuring dozens of local businesses. Once the darkness arrives, the Haunted Trail and Haunted Hayride will open up at only $2 a ticket. The popular Haunted House is also returning this year, run by youth volunteers from the Palm Harbor Library.

Admission to the event is free, but tickets are required for most games and haunts. The “non-scary” trick-or-treating is free for all ages.  The event will run until 9PM.

There are still a few openings for local businesses looking to take part in the trick-or-treating area. Those interested should contact the Parks & Recreation office at 727-771-6000 to get signed up. There is no cost to participate.
