Local School Volunteer Honored by Pinellas County

A Palm Harbor school volunteer will be honored as an Outstanding Volunteer of the Year by Pinellas County Schools.

Ray Edward Miller, who is a volunteer at Palm Harbor University High School will be honored during a school board meeting Feb. 21. Ray will also be recognized at a breakfast honoring the volunteers on April 26, according to an email from local school officials.

The Feb. 21 school board meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at the school administration building in Largo. The April 29 recognition breakfast will be at 8:30 a.m. at Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater, with a ceremony to follow at 9:30.
