Local Soccer Team is Tops!

Palm Harbor Patch would like to extend a big high five to The West Florida Premier U12 Girls Gold! Way to go, girls! Amy Dougherty, the Team's Manager sent us this news about the team's accomplishment-

"We are very proud of the entire team.  The West Florida Premier U12 Girl's Gold team advanced in the FYSA (Florida Youth Soccer Association) Region C tournament to the finals weekend on March 31 – April 1.  They beat Gulf Coast United in the Semi-Finals game on Saturday 3-0.  On Sunday they played Fusion in the finals game and won 4-0.  Two shutouts!  They are the Region C U12 Girl's Champions.  They will go onto President’s Cup in a few weeks to play the winners of the other three regions in Florida.  This means that we are one of the top four U12 girl's teams in the state.

Team members are: Taylor Baksay, Abigail Bowman, Kaylyn Burroughs, Gabriella Caruso, Tori Clark, Julia Cesta, Hannah Dougherty, Jillian Fragale, Alivia Gonzalez, Kendall Marra, Head Coach, Gerald Czaja Assistant Coach, Clayton Bowman."
