Northbound U.S. 19 Closed at Nebraska Avenue
A serious accident has lanes closed in the northbound direction this afternoon, May 1.
Motorists heading north on U.S. 19 near Palm Harbor’s Nebraska Avenue might want to take a detour.
Palm Harbor Fire Rescue has announced that all northbound lanes of U.S. 19 are closed this afternoon, May 1, following a serious motor vehicle crash.
A media alert from the agency was issued just before 2 p.m. It is anticipated the lanes will remain closed for at least an hour as the Florida Highway Patrol completes its investigation. Drivers are being asked to stay clear of U.S. 19 from Nebraska Avenue to Highlands Boulevard until further notice.
