Observation Tower At Wall Springs Park Reopens

Reconstruction of the tower is complete after the original structure was destroyed by a fire in 2013.

PALM HARBOR, FL -- Visitors to Wall Springs Park can once again enjoy the park’s observation tower.

Reconstruction of the tower is complete after the original structure was destroyed by a fire in 2013. Park visitors also have access to the structure’s Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible ramp, boardwalk and tower.

The park is located at 3725 De Soto Blvd., Palm Harbor. In the upcoming weeks, park visitors may notice further renovations near the structure, including final finishes on the tower, new tree planting and fence installations in the park near the tower.

A suspected arson fire destroyed the original observation tower in September 2013. Reconstruction meets updated ADA requirements and includes a wheelchair ramp to give all members of the public access to the views available at the tower.
