Palm Harbor Middle Counselor Named Best in State

Christine Everett, a counselor at Palm Harbor Middle School was named "Middle School Counselor of the Year" by the Florida School Counselor Association (FSCA).

A Palm Harbor Middle School counselor is one of the best in the state according to the Florida School Counselor Association (FSCA). The organization awarded Christine Everett with the honor of "Middle School Counselor of the Year" at the state conference earlier this month.

Everett has been an 8th grade counselor for more than five years and has worked in dropout prevention with at-risk students for seven years. She says her desire to help others stems from growing up with a special-needs younger brother and being active in his education. Everett is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida.
