Peggy O'Neill's Country Ribfest- One Big Party
Organizers Collected Donations of Canned Food for Local Food Banks
This year's ribfest feast started with the ribs of course, 300 servings more than the staff at Peggy O'Neill's usually makes each day. Add to that, another 150 servings of pulled pork, and a hundred or so plates each of chicken or Guinness-battered sausage.
That was the day's order - just for the meats - that Eric Webber, co-owner had assembled for the Country Ribfest and Canned Food Drive Saturday.
"We served all the ribs and pulled pork and most of the rest," he shared, happy to have seen so many people enjoy the grilling.

It took a staff of nine bartenders to take care of the crowd. As for the music, a pair of bands played inside and a pair in the backyard, with an outdoor stage big enough to handle the Matt Winter Band and crowd-favorite Soul Circus Cowboy.
"Our guy clicked more than 1,300 folks walking in to the backyard," Webber said.
