70th Best Magnet School in U.S. in Palm Harbor

Palm Harbor University High (PHUH) earned respectable spots in the annual U.S News & World Report "Best High Schools" rankings.

The magazine gave PHUH an overall "Silver" medal. "Gold" "Silver" and "Bronze" medals were given based on state proficiency standards, how well a school prepares its students for college and other factors (read the details here)

PHUH earned the #70 spot when compared to the other 126 magnet schools listed in the nationwide rankings. The magazine defined magnet schools as those which attract the most talented students in the region using an application process that includes grade point averages and test scores.
