Porto at the Sea Restaurant Celebrates 1st Anniversary

Porto at the Sea, a revered Flagler Beach restaurant, is celebrating its first anniversary on September 10. Porto at the Sea serves the finest European and Mediterranean cuisine in the area. “On our anniversary, September 10, we will be giving free Kir Royal cocktails to all our customers to show our appreciation of their loyal patronage,” said Luis Deoliveira, owner of Porto at the Sea. “We will also be celebrating with a special seafood menu in honor of the day.”

The story of Porto at the Sea began five years ago when Deoliveira’s wife, Dina, convinced him to open a restaurant. The couple then found an exceptional chef, Nuno Fritz, who has worked in a number of fine-dining restaurants in France and Portugal, and maître d’ Lisa Ramming to round out the team. Today, one year later, they are a Flagler Beach institution.

“The best seafood, incredible flavor,” said Porto at the Sea patron Kelley K. “The owner is out on the floor working and making sure everything is perfect. You can’t go wrong with this place.”
