Update: Power Outages Reported In Pinellas County

Residents are reporting widespread power outages in Pinellas County, including Palm Harbor, Ozona and Eastlake.

PALM HARBOR, FL -- Duke Energy said damage to a power station off Tampa Road and County Road 1 in Pinellas County has left more than 2,000 residents without power, some since yesterday.

Residents were reporting widespread power outages in Palm Harbor, Ozona and Eastlake and surrounding areas Tuesday morning.

Duke Energy is also reporting that 54 homes are without power off Belcher and Bryan Dairy roads and 29 homes have no power in Seminole

One resident who lives west of U.S. 19 east of Belcher Road said she's been without power for 18 hours.

According to Duke Energy, 2,119 homes and businesses are currently still without power. The estimated time to restore electricity is 2:30 p.m.
