Presidents to Greet RNC Delegates at Innisbrook Golf Course
Palm Harbor's Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club has some patriotic plans for Florida and South Carolina Delegates attending the Republican National Convention.
Abe Lincoln and Ronald Reagan are at Innisbrook awaiting the arrival of hundreds of Republican National Convention delegates from Florida and South Carolina who will be staying at the posh resort.
Cardboard cut-outs of Lincoln and Reagan will greet delegate golfers at the 1st and 16th holes of Innisbrook's famed Copperhead Course during the convention. Golfers will be able to take a souvenir photo of themselves next to the cut-outs. Each of the 18 holes at Copperhead will also be renamed in honor of one of the 18 past Republican presidents.
It's all part of Innisbrook's effort to help delegates celebrate the RNC, according to Innisbrook Spokesperson Ramona Hurley.

If you're familiar with August weather in Florida, you're probably wondering what will happen to Abe and Ronald when they're drenched by the frequent summer storms that move through ... or possibly even Tropical Storm Isaac?
No worries. Hurley says that Innisbrook has five of each of the cardboard cut-outs, in case the presidents start getting a bit soggy.

Innisbrook is also planning on making some scheduling adjustments to accommodate delegates who will be attending the RNC in Tampa during the late afternoon and evening.
"We'll be extending hours at one of our popular spots, , which will have extended hours and nightly entertainment till very late in the evening. We know that they won't be coming back until 11 to 12 o'clock at night," she said.
The RNC delegates have booked 535 of the 600 rooms at the 900-acre resort, which has four golf courses, six swimming pools, four restaurants and the Indaba Spa.
"They essentially will have the entire resort at their disposal," said Hurley.
