Construction crews were busy working inside the restaurant when we stopped by late last week. One worker said that the restaurant could possibly open on Sept. 1. He also said the restaurant will also have a small retail area inside.
Back in June, Louise Goetz, owner of the defunct Old Towne Cafe & Coffee House, told Palm Harbor Patch she was considering opening a new restaurant nearby. A short time later, the popular cafe closed, leaving some regular customers wondering,

Palm Harbor Patch called Goetz to find out why she closed the Old Town Cafe & Coffee House, but our call was not returned. Since then, she has disconnected that phone number.
