PSTA Buses Set to Help with Palm Harbor Evacuation

Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority has announced it has two buses available to help residents who are being evacuated from the Palm Harbor area.

The county has issued an order for the Caladesi RV Park, 205 Dempsey Road in Palm Harbor.

“Those being evacuated will be brought to Clearwater Community Church, 2897 Belcher Road in Dunedin,” PSTA announced in an email to media. “Riders are being asked to maintain a safe distance from the road when buses are approaching and use extreme caution when boarding and exiting the bus.”

The Tarpon Woods subdivision is also being evacuated as heavy rains continue. Clearwater Community Church in Dunedin is the recommended shelter for those who need it.
