Saturday Morning Classes for Dogs & Puppies in Palm Harbor!

CSA Palm Harbor Parks & Recreation, located at The Centre, 1500 16th Street, is now offering Puppy and Dog Training Classes on Saturday mornings starting on July 13, 2013.

The Puppy Manners Class is a four-week course for puppies aged 8 – 16 weeks.  The class will focus on socialization skills, problem prevention/solving, and beginning puppy manners.  Behaviors such as puppy biting, destructive chewing, housetraining, and jumping will be addressed.  Beginning sits, downs, come and drop it will also be taught.  The cost is $45 for members; $55 for non-members. 

The Adult Dog Training Class is a six-week class for dogs over the age of 16 weeks of age.  Classes will include instruction on a variety of basic canine behaviors, including sit, down, come, walk nicely on a leash, wait at the door, and more.  Cost is $70 for members; $80 non-members. 

All classes are taught by a professional dog trainer and member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.  Class size is limited to six puppies/dogs. Pre-registration and proof of current vaccinations are required.  A 10% discount is offered with proof of adoption from a local shelter/rescue at time of registration.
