Sharp-Dressed Man Swipes Sunglasses from Palm Harbor Store
Deputies are asking for help to identify the man they say wore a blue 70's style polyester suit to shoplift at East Lake Eye Care.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies are on the hunt for a man they say dressed up 70’s style and then paid a visit to a Palm Harbor business where he proceeded to shoplift sunglasses.
Wearing a 70’s blue polyester suit, a white button-down dress shirt and dark shoes, the man entered East Lake Eye Care, 3434 East Lake Road, No. 3, around 3:50 p.m. July 29. The man checked out the store’s sunglass collection and then left. It was after his departure a store employee discovered sunglasses missing from a few racks, an email from the sheriff’s office said.
The man was caught on surveillance taking sunglasses and hiding them inside his jacket pockets.
